Japanese company Chaku Perfume has developed a new app and attachment that lets you send smells via smartphones. According to RocketNews24, ‘Chat Perf‘ includes a small device featuring an atomizer and “smell tank”, which fits into your iPhone's dock port. You can then capture a smell and send the attachment to a friend for them to experience the moment.

The company believes this would be a good promotional tool, and could be handed out at tourist attractions or big events. At a music concert, the audience could receive the attachment at the entrance, download the app, and sniff the singer's choice of scent or even the smell of his sweat!
