Amazon Lets Users Send Personalized Video Gift Cards

The online retailer lets you choose from more than 50 templates for over a dozen different occasions.

Amazon has launched video gift cards that let customers send personalized creations featuring a photos of their face or the faces of their friends and family. There are more than 50 ‘JibJab Starring You’ videos, for over a dozen occasions, from “Elf Snowball Fight” to “Roller-skating Disco Birthday.”

After selecting a video and uploading a photo, customers can select a gift card amount of up to $2,000, and send it by email or Facebook with instant delivery or schedule up to a year in advance. Those who receive Amazon video gift cards can easily share their JibJab videos through Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and email, while keeping their gift card details private. Max Bardon, General Manager of Amazon Gift Cards, said:
