Microsoft creates an immersive experience for the launch of their latest iteration of the popular video game.

To promote the launch of Halo 4, Microsoft Xbox 360 transformed the scenic areas of Liechtenstein, Europe to represent a real-life setting of the game. The Gutenberg Castle was converted to look like the futuristic military fortification in the game. Over 70 Halo fans and members of the press were invited to take part in a two-hour role-play event complete with actors in costumes, and familiar scenic settings from the game.

Chris Lewis, Vice President of Microsoft EMEA's interactive entertainment business, said, “Halo launches have continually broken the mould and we are back with a colossal bang for Halo 4, transforming a country of the biggest scale imaginable.”
