Fortune-Telling Dog Sculpture Takes Over Miami Hotel [Video]
For Art Basel Miami Beach, Perrier teamed up with artist Desi Santiago to turn the Lords South Beach Hotel into a giant interactive installation.
Sparkling natural mineral water brand Perrier and BOFFO partnered with contemporary artist Desi Santiago to turn the Lords South Beach hotel into a giant sculpture for Miami Art Week 2012.
‘Perrier Presents: The Black Lords’ is a huge black dog installation that engulfs the hotel. Based upon Santiago’s actual dog, Gypsy, it features menacing paws and a whipping tail. It is also interactive, and visitors can have their fortune told by Gypsy through her laser eyes, smoke, and sounds of her running, panting and barking. The installation is open daily until December 9th, from 11am to 2am.
