Detour is a traveling exhibition project featuring one-of-a-kind Moleskine notebooks that have been doodled on and written in. 250 notebooks were collected and displayed and the exhibition was eventually turned into The Detour Book — a product in which each page gives some background information on the various famous doodlers as well as a selection of their creations.

Moleskine invited numerous creative thinkers like Ron Arad, Martì Guixé, Ross Lovegrove, Karim Rashid, Zhang Yuan, Spike Jonze, Sigur Rós, Christian LaCroix, Dave Eggers, Paula Scher, and others to hack and fill 352 pages with inspirational content from their daily lives.
