The mPrinter is a portable printer created by Andy Muldowney that prints snippets of information (“mPrints”), which can be text, HTML, images, etc. It is a small thermal printer, which is usually used for receipts, and can print using a WYSIWYG text editor or Javascript. There is also a mobile app that lets you print quickly, manage your mPrints, and use a doodle feature.

Muldowney told Mashable that he hopes the mPrinter will “act as a device which will help bridge our digital and traditional lives.” It can be used to print information about the week’s weather, shopping lists, recipes, sudoku puzzles, and much more.

Small Printer Designed For A Phone Allows For ‘On The Go’ Printing

The Kickstarter campaign for the mPrinter featured both a USB-only and a wi-fi option. The campaign was successfully funded after raising over $88,000 and going well past its $10,000 goal.
