Created by a small team based in Palo Alto, California, Mine is a social network that allows users to share and find interesting things to purchase. A cross between Twitter and Facebook, this new website can import users’ purchase history, help them look up, browse and follow other people, discover new items through them, and shop. Once logged with with an account, users can access their Amazon, iTunes, Etsy or Zappos account history and share it with their friends. When they buy a new item, a notification will pop up asking if they want to publish the purchase. Each user’s feed of purchase can also be “liked” and commented on by anyone in their friends list and they can also share purchases out to Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr.
