The Barcode Room is a concept by studio_01, which recently won a competition to design a studio apartment that can also be used for a gathering space. The apartment can transform into different ‘rooms’ for different purposes as it is composed of walls (known as ‘bars’), which move freely from side to side. This lets the resident customize the size of the space to fit a variety of uses.
