Japanese retailer Uniqlo has introduced ‘GIF Box’, an online promotion that pairs the 2012 word of the year and trend with a holiday campaign. Visitors can enter their email address to open the mystery gift box and view a festive animation specially created by a GIF artist, along with a discount coupon.
