Chinese artist Ai Weiwei has created a new installation for his first exhibition at the Galleria Continua in San Gimignano, Italy. ‘Stacked’ features 760 bicycles, as a homage to the principal means of transportation in China.

The bikes form a cohesive structure, which can be viewed from afar or within, with visitors looking up at all the frames and wheels.
