The fashion designer will create a purse inspired by sketches and photos made using the Galaxy Note II.

Fashion designer Alexander Wang has become the latest creative figure to partner with a technology company. Previously, Polaroid named Lady Gaga creative director of speciality products and Intel hired Will.i.am as its director of creative innovation.

Now Wang will design a limited edition bag for Samsung. The bag's design will be inspired by sketches and photos produced by a group of stylists and photographers using the Samsung Galaxy Note II.

It will be available in select Alexander Wang boutiques and the website this summer, with proceeds being donated to NYC charity ArtStart. Wang told WWD:
