Tipton Mills has introduced a new product that could help maintain a healthy digestive tract and even prevent nasty colds.
Food and beverage manufacturer Tipton Mills has introduced a new coffee that could help maintain a healthy digestive tract and even protect against colds and flu. The “world’s first probiotic coffee” contains GanedenBC30, which was developed by Ganeden Biotech. This has 10 times the cultures that regular probiotic yogurt has.

The company succeeded in creating a probiotic that isn’t sensitive to temperature and stomach acids, which mean it could be used in lots of different products. The president of Tipton Mills, Tim Sheehy, told Co.Exist: “[The probiotic] is heat stable allowing the bacillus to survive in the intestine.”
The Probiotic Instant Coffee is available at $5.49 for a pack of 6 sachets or $32.49 for a pack of 36.
