Previously known for large luxury cars, the brand is considering premium opportunities at a small scale.


The relaunch of the Lincoln brand as the Lincoln Motor Company continues at the 2013 North American International Auto Show with the debut of the MKC, premium small sport utility concept. An interesting direction for the brand to pursue considering it still needs to flesh out the passenger car offer in clearer terms. The MKC does show some refinement of signature Lincoln styling elements like the split-wing grille. The rear is a little less recognizable as a Lincoln, maybe a more unique taillight design is needed.
