Quebec-based designer Philippe Blanchard has come up with a truly trippy project–this busy ‘Noveaux Troglodytes’ exhibition. The live display, currently on show at the AR Prim in Montreal, is inspired by caves filled with stalactites and stalagmites, to which the artist has added an animated touch.

The room hums with the vibrancy of these red blue and green structures, especially given their use of LED strobe lighting that amplifies their already intense effects. Certain portions are set against blank spaces, again to increase the impact of the illuminated  sections. The installation as a whole is extremely dizzying so attend this show in heels at your own risk.
