The Easy Way Language Center combined closed captioning technology with Google Translate to help those who don't speak Portuguese.

In Brazil, watching TV even if you don't know Portuguese just got a little easier. Created by the agency Loducca for the Easy Way Language Center, a new service provides subtitles for Brazilian TV shows in any language.

Easy Way Subtitles is aimed at foreign students and professionals, as the number of these going to Brazil increases every year but most of them don't speak Portuguese so they can't understand local TV.

The service lets you watch Brazilian TV channels with real-time subtitles by combining closed captioning technology and Google Translate. A computer hooked to a TV set 24 hours a day captures and uploads closed caption data to the server in real-time to be translated.
