Yahoo! has announced a redesign to its homepage, saying the changes make it “more modern” and personal. U.S. users will begin to see the new experience over the next few days and improvements will be made in the coming months.

The site is introducing a newsfeed with infinite scroll that lets visitors experience a virtually endless number of articles. This can be customized to reflect your interests, whether you love sports, entertainment, or other topics.

You can log in with your Facebook account to see articles that your friends have shared. The new homepage is reportedly faster and optimized for smartphones and tablets so it works well on the go.

Yahoo! has also added newly-designed apps, including local weather forecasts and Facebook friends’ birthdays, and refreshed features like its editorials and the daily snapshot into popular trending web searches.
