Ever wonder what your sleep patterns were? Or what they might look like? Last year budget hotel chain ibis gave their guest an opportunity to have their sleep patterns translated into art, now they have released an iPhone app in conjunction with ACNE and BETC Digital Paris.

The app, which is free and and available from iTunes, is simple to use. You open the app, set an alarm and then leave your phone on your mattress and go to sleep. During the night, the app remains open and senses your motions to determine your sleep patterns, which are then digitally drawn in painterly strokes. You can save each night’s artwork to a gallery to compare nights and share them on social media. Says Thomas Dubaere, SVP Ibis Northern Europe:

A happy sleep is at the heart of the Ibis customer experience. The Sleep Art app aims to bring a bit of entertainment to peoples’ night’s sleep wherever they nap.
