HEARD NY transforms the space with thirty horse Soundsuits worn by The Ailey School students.

Artist Nick Cave is transforming Vanderbilt Hall in Grand Central Terminal with a herd of thirty life-size horses. These Soundsuits are worn by sixty students from NYC's The Ailey School. They are intricate works of art, shaggy and colorful, with elaborate headdresses.

‘HEARD NY‘, which is presented by Creative Time and MTA Arts for Transit, is part of a series of events celebrating Grand Central's 100th anniversary. It is open to the public free of charge and twice-daily performances will be staged at 11am and 2pm.
