Rob Walker, started up ‘Significant Objects’ with author Joshua Glenn in order to examine the connections between objects and value, which was the topic of his talk at At PSFK CONFERENCE NYC 2010. He and his partner obtained items from charity stores, infused them with a background and purpose, and found that their increased significance attracted prices far above the original when sold on the internet.
