Popular music streaming service runs first series of spots to reach a mass audience.

Spotify has launched it’s first advertising campaign ‘For Music’ to introduce itself to a mass audience in the US The multiplatform campaign, developed by Droga5 New York, includes TV, digital, and social elements.

A 60 second TV spot for the music streaming service debuted recently during NBC’s ‘The Voice’. It shows the journey of a person crowdsurfing and hopes to speak to “the way music can set you free and unite us all.”

The campaign extends through a series of shorter TV spots, as well as digital and social executions that depict specific moments where music changes everything, like a chance meeting, a moment of nostalgia, or an impromptu party.
