German automaker debuted a new Golf model at the New York Auto Show using pop-culture inspired augmented reality.

The seventh-generation Volkswagen Golf and GTI was unveiled at the 2013 New York Auto Show with a 2-minute pop culture timeline augmented reality video. Projected over a fabric covered 2015 Golf, the video is an ode to how the Golf has changed with the times. See if you can catch the Nintendo, Matrix and Ipod references.
