BERG the UK-based design consultancy who are largely known for their innovative creation The Little Printer have embarked on a new and highly original concept in partnership with the highly powerful social media network Twitter.

#FLOCK is a limited edition wirelessly connected clock using the BERG Cloud development kit that reacts to the activity of an individual Twitter account. The clock is to be awarded to ten different brands or companies who demonstrate the most creative use of Twitter giving a physical presence to their virtual activity.

It’s made up of four houses, three of which contain brightly coloured birds that react to Twitter notifications such as a new follower, a retweet or an @message. The birds then react to these actions by popping out of the houses in different ways. The fourth house is a more simplistic clock in its original form.
