Brooklyn-based design firm THEVERYMANY collaborated with the Japanese artist to create the fantasy-like store.

Brooklyn-based firm THEVERYMANY created this Louis Vuitton pop-up shop in Selfridges London for its collaboration with Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama. The design was based on Kusama's pumpkin installations and polka dot paintings.

The red and white store with pumpkin-shaped elements won the 2013 Architizer A+ Jury Award in the pop-up category. It features oversized chandeliers and squat podiums displaying Kusama's bags. The intersecting structure creates an immersive and hypnotic environment for visitors.
