Design studio The Way We See The World developed the Blokket, a slim pouch made from a silver and nylon material that blocks cellular signals.

Blokket is a slim pouch made of a silver and nylon material that blocks the cellular signals of the cell phone wrapped inside.

Created by designers Chelsea Briganti, Leigh Ann Tucker and Ingrid Zweifel with Manhattan-based design studio The Way We See the World, it helps turn off distractions, direct attention away from smartphone technology, and give the user (and their family and friends) some peace and quiet.

Blokket was designed in response to the way technology is changing our lives. Made in the USA, the pouch can be hand washed and hung flat to dry. It can also protect against identity theft, as chipped ID cards or passports placed inside the pouch can't be accessed by unauthorized RFID readers.
