Picture Cook is cookbook with a twist – it shows you how to cook using only images. Katie Shelly is a designer/illustrator who wanted to show everyone that cooking doesn’t have to be difficult, especially if you use pictures to explain it.

Apart from entire recipes laid out in picture form, there are specific technique that don’t lend themselves well to being described with words. When done with images however, they suddenly seem a lot more simple than before.

For anyone who thought cooking was beyond their reach, Picture Cook could be the first cookbook of many that makes cooking a straightforward and enjoyable pastime, instead of a gauntlet of information and complicated explanations.
