Digital artist Zach Dougherty takes a series of sculptures and transforms them into animated versions.

Portland-based digital artist Zach Dougherty's tumblr Hateplow features innovative animated GIFs including a recent series of transformed ancient Greek statues.

The classical sculptures are manipulated and reworked into deconstructed pieces and ones that appear to explode or vanish.

These classical inanimate statues have been converted into ever-changing pixels to create glitchy versions of themselves that constantly move in a loop. You can check out the whole series of animated sculptures on Dougherty's blog.
