Toronto-based graphic designer Marc Ghali combines the faces of two similar public figures who were born decades apart for his project ‘Then & Now.' The famous mash-ups in his design series include Hollywood actors, singers and princesses.

The pairings include Malcolm X and Barack Obama, Rihanna and Diana Ross, James Dean and Brad Pitt, and the Duchess of Cambridge and Princess Diana. Parts of both of the pairings' faces are lined up to create one image. Click through to see the mash-ups in ‘Then & Now':
