Spanish lighting collective create installation inspired by rain.

Located in the Campo de Cebada in Madrid, design group Luzinterruptus have created a guerrilla installation titled Prophylactic Rain That Doesn’t Wet Anything.

The artwork uses 800 condoms filled with blue-tinted water and individual lights transforming them into eye-catching suspended droplets.

The project was installed in memory of the space’s former use and to protest against the razing of a public swimming pool that the council intend to replace with a luxury market for tourists.
