The movie creator has filmed shaky fast-paced visuals for the band's latest single 'Came Back Haunted'.

Film director David Lynch (Blue Velvet, Mulholland Drive) has made a music video for Nine Inch Nails‘ new single Came Back Haunted. The song is taken from the band's upcoming album Hesitation Marks, which is due for release on September 3rd.

Lynch filmed frontman Trent Reznor at his studio in Los Angeles for the video. Reznor won an Oscar for Best Original Score two years ago with his frequent collaborator Atticus Ross for David Fincher's movie The Social Network.

The frenetic 4-minute video for Came Back Haunted is mostly black-and-white, with close-up footage of Reznor illuminated by a red light. The shaky, fast-paced video also comes with a warning for those suffering from photosensitive epilepsy.
