Google maps is given a twist creating a war-torn world full of machines.

Jonathan Zawada is a designer who decided to channel his imagination into something other than graphic design, illustration and similar creative outlets. Instead, he's turned to Google Maps, creating a war-torn world full of machines.

By overlaying video game graphics onto the already captivating Street View, Zawada has created scenes that look like they've been taken from a not-too-distant future where mechanised robots wage war on each other.

Some of the places you can visit in your very own mecha robot include Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah, a deserted shopping alley in Hong Kong, and a frigid industrial park in Bulgaria.
