TouchCast is a new app that will make online video "look like TV but feel like the web."

TouchCast is an iPad app for video authoring and discovery and founders, Erik Schonfeld, Charley Miller and Edo Segal have developed it with the purpose of “reinvent[ing] online video and rethink[ing] the web in a way that looks like TV but still feels like the web.”

The founders hope to better integrate online video with the interactivity of the web. Schonfeld explains that video hasn't been upgraded to its full working capacity. He explains,

The whole problem with video right now is it doesn’t really play nicely with the rest of the web.
