Designer builds radio-controlled life-size figurines that whip through the skies.

Most kids at some point try to make their action figure toys fly through the air during playtime, perhaps hoping that one time they would fly all their own. Designer Otto Dieffenbach took this wish seriously and built a life-size Superman plane that can fly through the sky, controlled by radio.

Based in San Diego, Dieffenbach and his partner Ed Hanley have built other radio-controlled life-size figurines in the likeness of any person or character for any type of commercial or recreational flying.
