Since Tuesday pre-historic animals have been hiding in the website of fashion magazine Vogue UK and only the Konami Code can summon them!

It seems that the UK site was hacked to display dinosaurs when the viewer types in the Konami Code, a cheat code that mostly appears in Konami video games.

The dinosaurs that pop up on the website are wearing fancy designer head gear, including hats designed by Louis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs.

Apparently, the Vogue UK website isn’t the only one with these pop-up well-dressed pre-historic creatures. The websites of GQ, Wired and Easy Living also reveal some hidden classy dinos and nyan cats after typing in the Konami Code.

It’s unclear whether this dino surprise is intentional, but it isn’t the first time that the Konami Code was used to reveal hidden surprises in websites.

As of this post the code still works on the websites mentioned above. To test it out, go to the website and type in the code: up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A.
