Artist Gunilla Klingberg’s 'A Sign In Space' is an installation on Laga beach in Spain, made by a converted truck at low tide.

Artist Gunilla Klingberg‘s ‘A Sign In Space’ is a sandprint on a beach in Spain, made by a a converted beach-cleaner truck. The work of art on Laga beach was created for the international contemporary art project Sense & Sustainability, which includes ten site-specific installations developed by ten artists from around the world.

Adapted Beach Rover Makes Star-Studded Sandprints [Pics]

The graphic star-patterned imprints on the sand were produced by a manufactured steel cylinder during low tide and at high tide, the patterns would slowly vanish.

The cylinder was connected to the beach-cleaner vehicle which drove from one side of the beach to the other, creating a pattern that covered the whole beach area. Click through to see images of the star-shaped sandprints on the beach:
