Street artist ABOVE placed a time-sensitive stencil of a breakdancer upside-down on a wall in Shoreditch, London. Only when night falls does a nearby street lamp cast a shadow of a road sign on the wall, making the dancer appear to be balancing on top it.

It took 7+ months searching the streets at night for a fixed shadow that was positioned perfectly against a wall. ABOVE writes, “I am attracted to the concept that the stencil and it’s context can change literally from day to night.”
