Eco-friendly clothing that emphasizes naturally occuring patterns, lines and colors

In what could be considered a very literal translation of eco-friendly fashion, Malaysian illustrator  Tang Chiew Ling has penned a series of figures elegantly dressed using only leaves from the garden.

The unique range of clothing items features the famous fashion icon Audrey Hepburn styled in simple leaf shapes. Taking inspiration from the natural world, the designs combine fashion, art, and illustration in a seamless way.

Each dress shows the patterns, lines and various colors that occur naturally in different types of leaves. Apart from providing a variety of styles, the organic designs also evolve over time thanks to the withering nature of plant life.

If such a dress ever came into existence, it could mean an item of clothing that adapts to the seasons, and therefore the latest fashion trend as well.
