The spacious Soho loft where artist Jean-Michel Basquiat used to live and work is available to rent on Airbnb. His artist’s loft is a 2,330 square-foot space up four flights of stairs on Crosby Street in New York.

Accomodating four people, the two bedroom loft costs $650 per night with a minimum stay of three nights. It features wi-fi, two flat screen TVs, a huge kitchen, and the second bedroom has it’s own living and dining area.

As it is a “very high end property”, an additional lease to the Airbnb agreement needs to be signed if you want to stay there. Sadly, the loft no longer resembles the creative melee in which the artist created some of his most iconic works, but is a piece of history nonetheless.
