Sony is set to release a series of ‘lens cameras’ for mobile devices that will transform them into powerful gadgets able to capture high quality images. SonyAlphaRumors posted these first pictures of the DSC-QX10 and DSC-QX100 lenses.

Wireless Lens Add-Ons Convert Phones Into Powerful Cameras

The add-ons magnetically attach to a smartphone or tablet and connect via WiFi or NFC to turn the display into a viewfinder. The lens cameras have no LCD screens or controls, instead they can be controlled through the attached device, working with both iOS and Android.

The lens cameras will consist of a built-in sensor, Bionz processor and SD cart slot; everything necessary to take a collection of quality photographs.
