To kick off New York Fashion Week, fashion website Swagger New York took animated icons from the 1990’s and decked them out in the clothes of designers who have shows lined up for the week.

Swagger teamed up with Italian designer Michele Moricci to create a world where characters like Lisa Simpson, Daria, and Sailor Moon are wearing the clothes of the designer whose show they attended.

The illustrations feature Lisa Simpson in Marc Jacobs, Sailor Moon in Rodarte, Daria in Prabal Gurung, Captain Planet in Hood by Air, Beavis and Butthead in Jeremy Scott, and Angelica Pickles in Diane Von Furstenberg.

The illustrations also show the famous cartoon characters standing outside popular Fashion Week scenes like Milk, Lincoln Center, and Industria Superstudio.
