Designed by UNStudio, the Nippon Moon in Japan will have an accompanying app that creates AR panoramas.

The Giant Observation Wheel (GOW) or the Nippon Moon, designed byDutch architectural studio UNStudio, is reportedly going to be twice as big as the London Eye.

The London Eye is 135 meters tall and the Nippon Moon could end up being one of the tallest wheels in the world. The structure will be built in Japan and will consist of 32 single and double-decked pods or capsules which will allow for augmented reality views of the city.

The Nippon Moon will also come with an app for smartphones and tablets. The app will allow users to communicate with the people in other capsules. Visitors riding in the capsules will also get to switch from reality to augmented reality views in the capsule. The Nippon Moon will give people a unique learning experience.
