A new app for the social network lets people customize Motorola’s Moto X smartphone with the colors from their photographs.

Motorola has released a new Facebook app that enables people to customize a Moto X smartphone with the colors from their album photos. This allows them to design their own smartphone in an even more personal way and signifies the merging of physical and digital realms.

Facebook users can pick a photo that represents their personal style and discover their very own Moto X. After giving the app access, they can select different images to see which colors it picks out to transform the device.

There is also a gallery where they can view unique creations made by other people. Mashable reports that individual colors in each design can be swapped out as the back plate, accent color and front of the phone are all customizable.
