Make a game about a character that traditionally would not be the ‘hero' of a video game: a love interest, a child, a companion, or a parent who stands in the background, gets kidnapped or rendered ‘in distress', and waits to be returned to or saved or acknowledged. A character who typically doesn't get the full, three-dimensional human treatment will finally have their perspective explored, their story told.
