Pink Highway Celebrates Breast Cancer Awareness
It is Breast Cancer Awareness month; people of Iceland spread awareness with pink ribbon that takes shape in an aerial view.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which brings together people from different backgrounds to combat a disease that affects everyone, both men and women.
In celebration of Cancer Awareness Month in Iceland, creative agency Brandenburg rolled out a very meaningful “pink carpet” on a looping highway ramp. The agency worked with the Icelandic Cancer Society, and created one of the biggest pink ribbons for breast cancer awareness.
With copious amounts of pink paint and a lot of team work, the Pink Highway comes to life and serves as a symbol for all of those affected by the disease. Even though the project only takes shape from an aerial view, it still reminds drivers of breast cancer prevention and research every mile along the way.
