Car brand Infiniti has just launched DejaView, a groundbreaking choose-your-own-adventure film that creates a unique storyline based on the viewer’s spoken interaction with the characters onscreen.

The responsive film features Infiniti’s new 2014 Q50 luxury sports sedan and stars “Rookie Blue” actress Charlotte Sullivan and “Hank & Asha” actor Andrew Pastides. Directed by Phillip Van, the film is about the couple, Sullivan and Pastides, who are driving their Infiniti Q50 and have no idea who they are, where they come from, and who or what they are running from or to. They only have the viewers to depend on to help them. Through mobile phone conversations the viewers affect the characters’ choices and leads them through a unique plot line.

The short movie uses the latest in natural language processing systems to create an interactive and one-of-a-kind experience for each viewer.

Deja View was produced by the award-winning company Campfire, which was co-founded by Mike Monello and Gregg Hale, creators of “The Blair Witch Project.” Award-winning interactive media development shop Dinah Moe acted as the film’s technical production partner.
