In the video ad for its new 4K Sony TV, the manufacturer used millions of blossoms to symbolize the number of pixels in the screen.

To show off the incredible picture quality of its new 4K TVs, Sony released a commercial featuring countless petals shooting out of an erupting volcano, cascading down rivers and covering a village in a flurry of pink, red, purple, and yellow.

The commercial, filmed in Costa Rica, was created with McCann London. The team apparently used 8 million flowers for the commercial to represent the number of pixels in the new TV and illustrate just how vibrant and clear the picture quality is.

The commercial was shot with Sony F55 and F65 cameras in 4K and was directed by Jaron Albertin who said he was excited to film the ad in 4K and in a great location.
