Inori Aizawa gives the world's most popular browser an image makeover to attract new users.

Internet Explorer‘s had a rough time in the past several years. Despite its claim to be “the world's most popular browser,” it remains an underdog in terms of reputation, having been the subject of much ridicule in the browser wars between Firefox and Chrome — summed up below.

But with its latest update, IE has been given a fresh (and unexpected!) image. Now the browser is personified by a magical anime girl named Inori Aizawa, who seems to embody the message IE has been trying to convey to the skeptics. As Inori explains on her Facebook page:
