One little boy is given a chance live out his superhero fantasies for a day. On Novermber 15, the Make-A-Wish Foundation will be turning the City by the Bay into a real-life Gotham City. Miles, a 5-year-old boy battling leukemia, will be saving the city of San Francisco from evil as the one and only Batkid.

A lady in distress will be waiting for Batkid to come to the rescue. Just like all superheros, Batkid will be helping the chief of police solve the case of a missing mascot. Other planned events include capturing Puzzler in the act of robbing a bank and a fabulous lunch at the Burger Bar.

The foundation invites passersby to be in on the action, and cheer on Batkid as he fights crime. The event will take place around Union Square at 12:45 and at City Hall at 2pm. If you are around the area, don’t forget to stop by and capture the moment on your smartphone. Help make this little boys dreams to come to life!
