Redesigned Ice Cream Scoop Eliminates Unnecessary Wrist Pain
A new scoop that cuts through ice cream like a hot knife through butter.
To perfect the art of ice cream scooping, you need a Belle-V in your kitchen utensil drawer. The Belle-V, designed by Dr. Karl Ulrich at the Wharton School, is an ice cream scoop that has been ergonomically crafted to eliminate any wrist tension when used.
Lunar, a world-class design firm known for its user-friendly products, helped out every step of the way, developing the asymmetric handle and angled scoop head.
Belle-V is made from aluminum and contracts heat from your palm through the handle to more easily release ice cream. The spade-shaped edge of scoop lets you reach those hard-to-reach corners at the bottom of the container.
