Argo Tea’s new tipping strategy leverages the power of social media, rewarding baristas based on the number of tweets in support of their service. From December 5th through December 24th, the GratuiTEA Program will add one extra dollar for every tweet in an attempt to show a little appreciation for their valued staff. At the end of the year, the tweets will be verified, and the results will be given as a promotional bonus.

Arsen Avakian, CEO of Argo Tea says:

We think this program will help us to recognize and reward people who build the Argo Tea reputation one cup and one customer at a time.

Argo Tea is not only big on customer service, but they are also very committed to promote a healthy lifestyle and the conservation of natural resources. They want to help build a sustainable community. This Chicago-based food and beverage company is quickly spreading throughout the U.S., as well as internationally. Be on the lookout for Tweet-tip opportunities.
