Wearable Camera Allows Pets To Post Their Own Instagrams

Pet food brand Nature's Recipe has unleashed a lightweight camera that allows pet owners to view the world through the eyes of their furry companion.

Premium dog and cat food brand Nature’s Recipe has launched a digital campaign that allows pet owners to bring their dogs or cats into the world of digital photo sharing through a lightweight camera fastened onto their collar.

The pics can be edited and shared via digital scrapbooks on the campaign site, and further shared through standard social media channels using the campaign hashtag #RecipeforMoments. The campaign kicked off with influential pet owners, such as standup comedian Jeff Caldwell and blogger Maggie Marton, participating and sharing their scrapbooks with the brand’s online community, and is being rolled out to the broader community through weekly sweepstakes in which lucky brand enthusiasts will win a camera, from now until March 2014.

JWT-owned digital agency Digitaria, public relations firm Hill + Knowlton Strategies, media agency Starcom and social agency VaynerMedia all took part in bringing this campaign to life.
